3/1: May, 3rd I will co-present a session on Agile at JAX, jax.de

My domain
I'm architect and developer of mid-sized to big Java/JEE applications since Java 1.0. Technologies and frameworks are substituted by new ones. What remains unchanged are cross cutting tasks spanning the complete software development lifecycle backing the development process. A balanced approach is optimal, aligned to concrete requirements and individual basic conditions. After chosing the right tools, these tools should be used and integrated in the most efficient way (SDLC tooling).
Full lifecycle tooling, using the right tools efficiently, including tools for build management, testing, auditing, .. or going the full way applying an ALM tooling infrastructure.
An Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) protects your assets and boosts productivity.
Although not a must, ALM should be enriched with Agile strategies.
Agile ALM
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) is the intelligent composition of build-, configuration-, change-, test-, quality-, requirements-, integration- and release management. ALM is the comprehensive approach
spanning development phases and project roles taking care of all artifact types including code artifacts (Java, Cobol, ..) as well as requirements documents, tests and so on. ALM is based on Software Configuration Management (SCM).
